Beaumont Hankey & Hugh Bannister, one a charismatic socialite, the other a more reserved but astute businessman, established a business selling wines and spirits to the great and the good of London in the middle of the 1700’s. This soon led the Hankey Bannister company to blending Scotch whisky, and here we are hundreds of years later, with the Hankey Bannister blend. It is unpeated, mainly Bourbon casks, and we think it is one of the value blended Scotch whiskies.
Nose: A fresh floral note, followed by citrus and spice.
Palate: Rich citrus flavours, good spice, good malt notes and a long finish.
